Among his kids' friends he's known as "B.D." for "Bald Daddy." But what John lacks in hair, he more than makes up for in brainpower. He's a remarkably strategic thinker with a distinguished history of market analysis and creative decision-making in the consumer food industry. Since education is food for thought, it follows that John's background in Cheerios serves him well in higher ed positioning and brand management. He's wise, collaborative, mission-driven and results-oriented. John's a dedicated wine collector and frequent vineyard visitor in Italy and France. Yet that focused demeanor hides a sly practical joker. He and his buddies once decorated a house for Christmas while the owners were away on summer vacation.
